Powwow

What is Powwow?

Powwow is a bi-annual event. It centers on the Order's theme of cheerful service. Candidates, those members elected by their troop but that have not been fully admitted must attend one of the two Powwows in the year after they are elected. If they do not, their candidacy expires and they must be elected again. The powwows are held in June and September.

Medical forms

BSA Medical Form [PDF] 50k

You always need to bring a completed medical form to all Powwows and other overnight events.  Parts A and C are required for all events that do not exceed 72 consecutive hours.  Part B is required with parts A and C for any event that exceeds 72 consecutive hours, and for certain other circumstances.  Note that only Part B requires a doctors signature, but that a parent's signature is ALWAYS mandatory on Part C for a Scout under 18.
