Vigil Honor Committe Meeting
The Vigil Honor Selection Committee will host its annual meeting at the Monmouth Council Service Center (located at 705 Ginesi Dr. in Morganville) on Saturday, March 6th at 1:00 PM. The meeting is expected to last two to three hours. You are welcome to attend if you are an Ordeal or Vigil Honor member of Na Tsi Hi in good standing (current dues paid and registered with the BSA). If you sealed your membership in the bonds of Brotherhood less than two years ago, you are also welcome to attend.
This meeting is the only forum available for selecting Vigil candidates. Regardless of whether or not you can attend, all members are encouraged to review the list of those eligible for selection as a Vigil Honor member and submit a nomination form. Much like how the members of your troop were allowed to vote for as many or as few individuals as they felt were deserving for the Order of the Arrow, you are allowed to nominate as people as you feel are deserving of the Vigil Honor. Please help the Vigil Honor Selection Committee recognize our brothers who have made distinguished contributions and deserve this high mark of distinction. The meeting is casual attire with OA sash.

A Message from the National Chairman!

In October of 2009, Ray Capp, the new National Order of the Arrow Chairman, sent a letter to each and every lodge in the nation. He wrote:
At the recent National BSA meetings in Dallas, as my first act as Chairman of the National Order of the Arrow Committee, I announced the creation of a new subcommittee entitled: Unit, Chapter, and Lodge Support. This group will focus on supporting our lodges. My time in this role will be marked with a dramatic focus on helping lodges with new tools, new resources, and new training programs which help you. To punctuate the importance of lodges in this new Order, I am sending you an Ordeal Ceremony figurine, which I hope you will choose to present to a deserving youth on behalf of the National Order of the Arrow Committee during the upcoming winter banquet season.
Wishing you all the best as we close out this year, I remain,
Devotedly yours in the Order of the Arrow
Ray Capp
Na Tsi Hi presented the Ordeal Ceremony figurine to our Lodge Secretary Ryan Bolger at our winter banquet this past January. Congratulations Ryan!

In December, Na Tsi Hi submitted its charter for 2010 and Chief Lelesi gave the annual lodge report to the Monmouth Council Executive Board. Take a look, our accomplishments are impressive. Our Quality Lodge petition tells the rest of the story - a list of reasonable, attainable and meaningful goals. It is in essence our report card. Our membership keeps growing, our Brotherhood inductions are respectable, and our contributions to our camps in dollars and service hours are generous. It all adds up to ArrowPower! As we celebrate our 60th birthday, let's make 2010 another outstanding year for Na Tsi Hi. To see the Quality Lodge Petition click here.To see the Lodge Annual Report click here!
